Assam registers 5 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Wednesday, toll rises to 889

Oct. 21: On Wednesday, another 05 patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The 05 deceased were identified as:

• Bibhuti Choudhary (78) & Anjali Das (57) of Kamrup Metro
• Surendra Nath Bora (78) of Nagaon
• Lakhi Saikia (68) of Golaghat
• Dharmeshwar Baruah (67) of Majuli
