১ ডিসেম্বর : শনিবার সন্ধ্যারাতে গুয়াহাটি-ডেকারগাঁও ইন্টারসিটি এক্সপ্রেসে একটি বোমা বিস্ফোরণের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। জানা গেছে, ওদালগুড়ি জেলার হরিশিঙ্গায় ট্রেনটি আসার পর হঠাত করেই একটি কোচে বিস্ফোরণ ঘটে। জানা গেছে, ট্রেনটি চলন্ত অবস্থায় প্রথম থেকে চতুর্থ কামরায় বিস্ফোরণ ঘটে। তবে বিস্ফোরণের পেছনে কারা জড়িত তা এ খবর লেখা পর্যন্ত জানা যায়নি। কোনও সংগঠন বিস্ফোরণের দায় স্বীকার করেনি।

এতে ১৪ জন যাত্রী গুরুতর জখম হয়েছেন বলে খবর পাওয়া গেছে। তবে রেলসূত্রে আহতের সংখ্যা আরও কম বলে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। আহতদের পার্শ্ববর্তী হরিশিঙ্গা সিভিল হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। ঘটনার খবর পেয়ে ছুটে গেছে পুলিশ বাহিনী। ইতিমধ্যেই পুলিশ তল্লাশি শুরু করেছে। এদিকে প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীরা জানান, এটি একটি গ্রেনেড হামলার ঘটনা। বিস্ফোরণে ট্রেনের বেশ ক্ষতি হয়েছে।

December 1: An incident of blast occurred in the Guwahati-Dekargaon Inter city Express on Saturday evening. It was learnt that the blast took place inside a compartment when the train reached Harisingha in Udalguri district.

A total of 14 passengers were injured in the blast. The injured were rushed to the nearby Harisingha Civil Hospital. On getting information, Police forces reached the spot of blast and started investigation. Eye witnesses have revealed that it is a case of grenade blast. The train was damaged to a great extent in the blast.
