1248 persons discharged in Assam on Thursday

July 30: On Thursday, 1248 persons were discharged from various hospitals across Assam. With this, a total of 29,080 persons were discharged in the state as of now. Further, during the day, 2112 were detected as coronavirus positive, thereby taking the total tally to 38,407, out of which, 9230 are active cases. Thursday further witnessed the death of 2 more COVID-19 patients. A total of 94 patients in Assam have succumbed to the infection. In a tweet, the State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1248 patients have been discharged today The consistency of our good recovery rate is a reflection of continuous efforts & dedication of our teams. Gratitude!”
