Rajdeep Ghosh Receives Ph.D. Degree from Assam University
way2barak, July 25 : Rajdeep Ghosh has received a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Law at Assam University, Silchar. The title of his thesis was “Emergence of Artificial Intelligence and its Ramifications in Public Law in India : A Study of Legal Framework with Special Reference to Criminal Liability.” His research was supervised by Associate Professor Dr. Partha Pratim Pal from the Department of Law and co-supervised by Associate Professor Dr. Arindam Roy from the Department of Computer Science.
Rajdeep graduated with a gold medal in Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Assam University, Silchar, in December 2019. Notably, he also passed the UGC-NET exam while he was an LL.M. student. After passing the matriculation examination from Judhisthir Saha Higher Secondary School in Bihara Bazar, Cachar with first division and the higher secondary examination from Gurucharan College in Silchar with first division, he completed his B.A.LL.B. (Hons) and LL.M. from the Department of Law at Assam University, Silchar, with first class before starting his Ph.D. Additionally, Rajdeep has passed the All India Bar Examination and earned a Diploma in Computer Application. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Law at Rashtriya Raksha University in Gujarat (a central university). Besides his Ph.D. research, Rajdeep has published 16 research articles in international journals, including Scopus, Web of Science, UGC Care, and peer-reviewed journals of repute.
Rajdeep is the son of Late Rathindra Ghosh and Mrs. Anita Ghosh. He has dedicated his Ph.D. to his late father. His wife Mrs. Aparajita Singha Ghosh is serving as a Civil Judge (Jr. Division) cum Judicial Magistrate (First Class) in the Tripura Judicial Service.
