এক পাত্রে ৩০০০ কেজি খিচুড়ি, দলিত স্তুতি বিজেপির
World record set by cooking 3000 kg Khichdi in one vessel at BJP rally

৬ জানুয়ারি : একই পাত্রে ৩০০০ কেজি খিচুড়ি তৈরি করে নতুন বিশ্ব রেকর্ড গড়তে চায় বিজেপি। আর এর মাধ্যমে দলিতদের ভোট টানার এক কৌশলও নিয়েছে দল। রবিবার নয়া দিল্লির রামলীলা ময়দানে বিজেপি তফসিলি মোর্চা আয়োজিত ভীম মহা সংগ্রাম বিজয় সংকল্প সমাবেশে এই খিচুড়ি রান্না হচ্ছে। এই খিচুড়ি রান্নার জন্য আমন্ত্রণ জানানো হয়েছে নাগপুরের সেফ বিষ্ণু মনোহরকে।

 

এ দিকে, এই সমাবেশে খিচুড়ি রান্নার জন্য সমস্ত উপকরণ সংগ্রহ করা হয়েছে দলিত পরিবার থেকে। তিন লক্ষ দলিত পরিবার থেকে চাল ও মসুর আনা হয়েছে। তা দিয়েই তৈরি হবে খিচুড়ি। দলিত সম্প্রদায়ের মন পেতে এই সমাবেশে বক্তব্য রাখবেন বিজেপি সভাপতি অমিত শাহ। জানা গেছে, এই বিশাল পরিমাণ খিচুড়ি একটি পাত্রেই প্রস্তুত করা হবে। দিল্লি বিজেপি তফসিলি মোর্চার সভাপতি মোহনলাল গিহারা জানান, যে পাত্রটিতে খিচুড়ি রান্না হবে, তা বিশেষ উপায়ে তৈরি করা হয়েছে। এর ব্যাস ২০ ফুট ও ৬ ফুট গভীর। এতেই চাল, ডাল, লবণ ও জল মিশিয়ে খিচুড়ি প্রস্তুত হবে।

দিল্লি বিজেপি সভাপতি মনোজ তেওয়ারি এক সাংবাদিক বৈঠকে বলেন, এই ‘সামরাস্তা খিচুড়ি তৈরি করার অর্থ হল মানুষের মধ্যে পজিটিভ এনার্জি তৈরি করা। এর মাধ্যমে মানুষের মধ্যে ইতিবাচক দিকগুলো প্রকাশ পাবে। তাছাড়া এর মাধ্যমে বিজেপি বিশ্ব রেকর্ড ছুতে চায়। বর্তমানে রেকর্ড হল একসঙ্গে একই পাত্রে ৯১৮.৮ কেজি খিচুড়ি তৈরি করার। ২০১৭-র নভেম্বরে দিল্লিতে ওয়ার্ল্ড ফুড ইন্ডিয়া ফেস্টিভলে খাদ্য প্রক্রিয়াকরণ মন্ত্রকের উদ্যোগে এই খিচুড়ি তৈরি করেছিলেন সেলিব্রেটি সেফ সঞ্জীব কাপুর।

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), in its attempt to create a stronger Dalit connect, will cook over 3,000 kg of khichdi with rice and lentils today at its rally in Delhi. The khichdi (an easily cooked, popular dish prepared with rice and lentils) will be cooked with ingredients collected from nearly three lakh Dalit homes in Delhi in one vessel.

“Samrasta Khichdi” will be cooked at the Bhim Mahasangam rally in Ramleela Maidan with ingredients collected by members of the Delhi BJP’s SC Morcha. The rally will be addressed by the BJP’s national president Amit Shah. Through the khichdi cooking, the BJP is also looking at creating a new world record. Nagpur based chef Vishnu Manohar and his team have been invited to cook the “Samrasta Khichdi” at the rally.

A specially designed pot – 20 ft in diameter and six feet in depth – will be used by the chef and his team to cook the khichdi with rice, pulses, salt, water and oil. “We are in touch with Guinness Book for recording the feat,” Delhi BJP SC Morcha president Mohanlal Gihara has said. The current world record for the largest khichdi cooked is 918.8 kg, cooked by celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor and the Ministry of Food Processing Industries at the World Food Festival in Delhi in November 2017. The rally today is expected to be attended by 50,000 people. The cooked khichdi will be distributed among the party workers and those who attend the rally.
