Union govt advises private companies to allow work from home
March 16: The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India advises the private sector organisations and employers on Monday to allow their employees to work from home wherever feasible amid the coronavirus pandemic. It also asked them to conduct meetings through video conferences.
Encourage private sector organizations/employers to allow employees to work from home wherever feasible. Meetings, as far as feasible, shall be done through video conferences. Minimize or reschedule meetings involving large number of people unless necessary.

The government advisory further urged them to minimise or reschedule meetings involving large number of people unless necessary. Over 110 people have been infected with coronavirus till now.
