UP CM Yogi Adityanath & SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav tests COVID-19 positive

April 14: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said he has tested positive for COVID-19. “On getting the initial symptoms, I got myself checked for Covid-19 and my report has come positive. I am in self isolation and following doctors’ advice. I’ll carry out my constitutional responsibilities via online mode,” the Chief Minister tweeted in Hindi.

शुरुआती लक्षण दिखने पर मैंने कोविड की जांच कराई और मेरी रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई है।

मैं सेल्फ आइसोलेशन में हूं और चिकित्सकों के परामर्श का पूर्णतः पालन कर रहा हूं। सभी कार्य वर्चुअली संपादित कर रहा हूं।

As coronavirus cases rise at a rapid pace in UP, many other leaders have also tested positive for the deadly virus. Earlier today, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Uttar Pradesh minister Ashutosh Tandon also tested positive for COVID-19. Confirming the development, the SP chief took to Twitter and said, “I have tested positive for coronavirus and have isolated myself.”

अभी-अभी मेरी कोरोना टेस्ट की रिपोर्ट पॉज़िटिव आई है। मैंने अपने आपको सबसे अलग कर लिया है व घर पर ही उपचार शुरू हो गया है।

पिछले कुछ दिनों में जो लोग मेरे संपर्क में आये हैं, उन सबसे विनम्र आग्रह है कि वो भी जाँच करा लें। उन सभी से कुछ दिनों तक आइसोलेशन में रहने की विनती भी है।
