Tiny tot gives his entire savings to COVID-19 fund, CM in all praises for him

April 2: When the entire world is in the grip of coronavirus, not only philanthrophists, but people from every walk of life is generously contributing to help its government in the fight against this deadly virus. In India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sought generous contribution in the PM-CARES Fund. State governments have also notified to contribute in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Inspired by the appeal a 7-year-old boy from Venglai in Mizoram’s Kolasib district has come forward to donate his entire savings.

The child with a humane approach was identified as Rommel Lalmuansanga who donated his entire savings of Rs.333 including both notes and coins to the Village Level Task Force to fight against the deadly coronavirus.

This tiny bundle contains Rs. 333/- in cash and coins;

The magnanimity of the 7-year old boy could not escape the notice of the Chief Minister of the state. In a tweet, Zoramthanga, the CM of Mizoram highly appreciated the boy and also shared his pictures. Zoramthanga wrote, “This tiny bundle contains Rs. 333/- in cash and coins; 7-year-old Rommel Lalmuansanga from Kolasib Venglai donated his entire savings to his Village Level Task Forces in this war against the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic.  May the good Lord bless you abundantly.
