Tarapur Durga Puja Committee (Rice Mill) donates ₹10,000 to PM-CARES Fund

March 31: When the entire country is fighting against the deadly coronavirus, the Prime Minister of India has appealed for help from its citizens. Responding to the call of the Prime Minister, Tarapur Sarba Janin Durga Puja Committee, near Rice Mill, Silchar donated an amount of Rs.10,000 to the PM-CARES Fund.

On Tuesday, the members of the Durga Puja Committee handed over the cheque to Silchar MP Dr. Rajdeep Roy out of their 74th year puja celebration fund. Present on behalf of the Puja Committee were Ripon Dey, Normal Bhoumick, Arup Bhattacharjee, Saibal Dutta, Shamyal, Ratindra, Suman, Jeet, Jala and Rathindra.
