Viral message saying tea can cure coronavirus is FAKE
March 26: A message claiming that tea can cure coronavirus has gone viral in social media, especially in Whatsapp groups since a couple of days. The message further claims that COVID-19 patients were served tea thrice a day in the hospital in Wuhan, China and that’s why no new cases of coronavirus positive are henceforth reported from there. This claim of tea curing coronavirus is a FAKE NEWS.

Beware of Fake remedies spreading on social media that purports to offer ways of combating the coronavirus.” This was tweeted by Press Information Bureau (PIB) of Government of India from its official PIB Fact Check handle on 25 March, 2020.
