DC Cachar emphasises on improvement of health service delivery in the Model Hospitals

October 17: The District Health Society cum Health Review Meeting was held on Thursday under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar, Laya Madduri at the Conference Hall of her office.

The meeting was attended by Rajib Roy, ADC (Health), Dr. S. J. Das, Joint Director of Health Services, Dr. Abhijit Swami, Superintendent of Silchar Medical College and Hospital, Dr. Ashutosh Barman, Superintendent of S. M. Dev Civil Hospital, Rahul Ghose, DPM, Suman Choudhury, DME and officials of the District and Block levels.

A threadbare discussion following a detailed analysis of Health Parameters was conducted. DC Madduri emphasised on improvement of health service delivery in the Model Hospitals. She also reiterated that awareness generation of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jana Arogya Yojana is the need of the hour, so that maximum beneficiaries of this scheme can reap the benefits.
