Sri Lanka defeats Pakistan by 23 runs to lift Asia Cup for 6th time

way2barak, Sept.11: Sri Lanka on Sunday beat Pakistan by 23 runs to lift the Asia Cup 2022. Sri Lanka posted 170/6 after being put in to bat. Bhanuka Rajapaksa top-scored for Sri Lanka with 71 not out 45 off balls. Haris Rauf was the standout bowler for Pakistan with three wickets. In response, Pakistan could only manage 147 all out in 20 overs. It’s Sri Lanka’s first Asia Cup victory since 2014, when also they defeated Pakistan in the final.
