Silchar DSA felicitates 3 promising Table Tennis players Akshita, Dhanakshi & Dibya

Jan. 10: District Sports Association (DSA), Silchar on Sunday felicitated three under-11 years Table Tennis players for their outstanding performing. These two young TT players who were felicitated are Akshita Roy (Gold Medalist) and Dhanakshi Saha (Bronze Medalist). Both of them carved a niche for themselves in the arena of Table Tennis and made Silchar proud by their performances. Apart from them, Divija Paul was also felicitated as the best promising player.

Bijendra Prasad Singh, General Secretary of Silchar DSA during the felicitation programme said that Akshita and Dhanakshi were felicitated for their remarkable performance in state Ranking and Inter District Table Tennis Tournament. “We also handover a Cheque an amount of Rs 10,000 to Akshita Roy because she is the First Girl in the history of Silchar DSA to achieve the Gold Medal in state Table Tennis Ranking.” DSA President Babul Hore along with other officials were also present during the ceremony.
