District Level Task Force constituted for enforcing Model Code of Conduct

Feb.18: In order to ensure enforcement of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in the three Legislative Assembly Constituencies of Hailakandi district during the upcoming Assembly election, a District Level Task Force has been constituted with immediate effect.

An order to this effect was issued by District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner, Megh Nidhi Dahal here on Thursday. The committee will co-ordinate with stakeholders and Circle Level Task Force for effective enforcement of MCC till the election process is over.

The District Level Task Force is headed by District Development Commissioner, RK Laskar as Chairman with the Additional Superintendent of Police, the Assistant Executive Engineer, PWD, the Assistant Executive Engineer, PWD (Building), the Assistant General Manager, APDCL and the District Information and Public Relations Officer as members.
