Sammilito Sanskritik Mancha felicitates district administration on language martyrs day
May 19: Sammilito Sanskritik Mancha, the conglomeration of the socio-cultural organisations of Cachar felicitated district administration on the occasion of Language Martyrs Day. Deputy Commissioner, Keerthi Jalli received the honour on behalf of the Cachar District Administration. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sumit Sattavan, Assiatant Commissioner Abhilash Barnawal were also present during the occasion.
Speaking during the occasion, Ajoy Roy, Secretary of Sammilito Sanskritik Mancha said, “On this auspicious day, I would like place on record the contribution of the frontline COVID-19 warriors not only in Cachar but all throughout the globe. As a mark of recognition to their selfless and dedicated service, we on behalf of the people would like to honour the district administration for spearheading the fight against the deadly coronavirus.”
A memento was handed over to Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner by the Secretary of the Mancha, Ajoy Roy, State Cabinet Minister Parimal Suklabaidya, MP Silchar Dr. Rajdeep Roy, MLA Dilip Kumar Paul among others at Silchar crematorium on Tuesday morning.
