Rotary Greenland organises awareness on Breast Cancer at DNNK School

August 17: An Awareness Programme on Breast Cancer was organised by Rotary Club of Green Land, Silchar at DNNK Girls Higher Secondary School, Silchar. The Resource Person of the day was Dr Lopamudra Das Roy. Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy, MS, MBA, Ph.D. is the founder and President of Breast Cancer Hub with 18+ years of experience in Research, Teaching and Mentoring undergraduate and graduate students (Ph.D. candidates) in the field of Genetics and Breast & Pancreatic Cancer.

It was a marvelous presentation by Dr Lopamudra Das Roy. The different steps of Breast Cancer, the process of self-examining, the way to protect ourselves by maintaining a strong healthy life, the precautionary measures for the cancer syndromes, all were thoroughly  reflected in the speech Dr. Lopamudra.

The hall was full of students, approximately 130 of them listened attentively during the session. Even after the lecture session, few students interacted with Dr Lopamudra Das Roy. The Principal of the school along with other faculty members acknowledged the endeavour.
