1571 patients discharged in Assam on Friday
Sept. 25: On Friday, 1571 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,36,712 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged in the state. At present, there are 30, 034 active cases in the state. In a tweet, State health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1571 patients discharged today. We all must give priority to our health and invest in increasing our family’s immunity by having proper nutrition and rest.”
On Friday, 1792 persons tested positive in Assam. During the day, 28, 245 tests were done in the state. With this, a total of 1,67,374 persons were infected with novel coronavirus as of now. Further, during the day, 17 more patients of COVID-19 succumbed to the infection, thereby taking the death toll of the state to 625.
