Review meeting of multifarious schemes held in the office of DC Cachar

February 28: A review meeting was held in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar on Friday. The meeting presided over by DC Barnali Sarma discussed about schemes under BADP(SCA) 2020-2021 to the tune of Rs. 95.85 lakh, in respect of Katigorah and Rs. 59.80 lakh in respect of Kalain. The Deputy Commissioner Cachar also reviewed the other ongoing schemes and urged for early completion in respect of BADP.

The review meeting was also attended by MLA Katigorah Amar Chand Jain, representative of MP Silchar, Sashankha Sekhar Dhar, Additional Superintendent of Police, Jagadhish Das and heads of all concerned departments.

This was followed by another review meeting on MLAADS, untied funds,MsDP, DMFT etc. The Deputy Commissioner reviewed all the schemes under MLAADS, untied funds, MSDP and DMFT, MsDP for the last three financial years and urged for early completion of all the ongoing schemes. She also suggested strict compliance of the guidelines and measures to be taken for completion of the schemes on time so that the fund allotted in the district is fully utilized and no question of refund of fund surfaces.

Deputy Speaker Aminul Haque Laskar, MLA Borkhola Kishore Nath, MLA Udharbondh Mihir Kanti Shome, MLA Katigorah Amar Chand Jain, MLA Lakhipur Rajdeep Goala, Representative of MP Silchar Shasankha Shekhar Dhar, District Development Commissioner Jessica Lalsim, all circle officers, all members secretaries, construction committees and officials from Transformation and Development branch attended this review meeting.
