Recitation workshop inaugurated; Resource Person Golam Saroyar from Dhaka

বরাক উপত্যকা বঙ্গ সাহিত্য ও সংস্কৃতি সম্মেলনের আবৃত্তি কর্মশালা সোমবার শুরু হয়েছে। বিকেলে বঙ্গভবনে এর আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করেন বাংলাদেশ থেকে আগত প্রশিক্ষক গোলাম সারোয়ার। সঙ্গে ছিলেন বঙ্গ সাহিত্যের কেন্দ্রীয় সভাপতি সৌরীন্দ্রকুমার ভট্টাচার্য, কাছাড়  জেলা সভাপতি তৈমুর রাজা চৌধুরী, শিলচর আঞ্চলিক সভাপতি সঞ্জীব দেবলস্কর, ড. অমলেন্দু ভট্টাচার্য, সব্যসাচী পুরকায়স্থ, সব্যসাচী রুদ্রগুপ্ত প্রমুখ।

তিনদিনের কর্মশালার শুরুতেই সারোয়ার বলেন, আবৃত্তি আওয়াজের খেলা। কিন্তু কোনও কবি আবৃত্তির কথা খেয়াল রেখে কবিতা রচনা করেন না। তিনি দেখে-দেখে আবৃত্তির পক্ষপাতী নন। বলেন, মুখস্থ করতে হবে। নইলে কবিতাটির ভেতরে ঢোকা যায় না। কাগজের উপর ভর করে মাইকের সামনে দাঁড়ালে আবৃত্তি করে আনন্দ পাওয়া যায় না, শুনেও মজা হয় না। পাশাপাশি উচ্চারণেও গুরুত্ব দেন প্রখ্যাত আবৃত্তিকার সারোয়ার।

আয়োজকদের পক্ষে তৈমুর রাজা চৌধুরী জানান, তিনদিনের প্রশিক্ষণে ৩৭জন নাম লিখিয়েছেন। শেখার পর বৃহস্পতিবার তাঁরা মঞ্চে আবৃত্তির অনুষ্ঠান করবেন। আবৃত্তি শোনাবেন গোলাম সারোয়ারও। তিনি আশা করেন, সে দিনের অনুষ্ঠান বেশ উপভোগ্য হবে।

বঙ্গ সাহিত্যের কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির সিদ্ধান্তে এ বার তিন জেলায় তিনটি কর্মশালার আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। শিলচরে আবৃত্তি শেখানো হলেও করিমগঞ্জ, হাইলাকান্দিতে বানান কর্মশালা হয়। দুই জেলাতেই ব্যাপক সাড়া মেলে।

A 3 day Recitation Workshop organized by Barak Upottaka Banga Sahitto Sammelan was formally inaugurated at Banga Bhawan on Monday evening by Mohammad Golam Saroyar from Dhaka, who is the Resource Person of this workshop. Also present in the inaugural ceremony were central President of Banga Sahitto, Sourindra Kumar Bhattacharjee, President of its Cachar district chapter Taimur Raja Choudhury, Sanjib Deb Laskar, Dr. Amalendu Bhattacharjee, Sabyasachi Purkayastha, Sabyasachi Rudra Gupta and others.

During the inauguration ceremony, Golam Saroyar said that recitation is the game of sound. But no poet composes poems keeping in mind the issue of recitation. He said that he is not in favour of doing recitation by looking at the book/paper. Recitation ought to be done by memorizing the poems otherwise it will not be possible to immerse in the poem. When recitation is done by looking at any piece of paper, then it’s not possible to derive any charm out of it. Saroyar also emphasized on the aspect of correct pronunciation during recitation.

On behalf of the organizers, Taimur Raja Choudhury said that a total of 37 participants have enrolled themselves in this 3 day workshop. At the end of the workshop, there will be a performance by the trainees along with the Resource Person on 30 August. He hoped that this programme will be a real treat for the ears.

As per the resolution of the central committee of Banga Sahitto, three workshops have been organized in the three districts of Barak valley. Though at Silchar, workshop on recitation has been organized but at Karimganj and Hailakandi workshop on spelling was organized.
