রাফাল: শিলচর থেকেও রাষ্ট্রপতিকে বিজেপির স্মারকলিপি

১৯ ডিসেম্বর : রাফালে চুক্তির প্রতিবাদ এ বার আছড়ে পড়ল শিলচরেও। এ নিয়ে দেশের ৭০টি স্থানে সাংবাদিক বৈঠক করার পরবর্তী কর্মসূচি হিসেবে দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থান থেকে রাষ্ট্রপতির উদ্দেশে স্মারকপত্র পাঠানো হয়েছে।

বুধবার একইভাবে শিলচর জেলা বিজেপির পক্ষ থেকে কাছাড়ের জেলাশাসকের মাধ্যমে দেশের রাষ্ট্রপতির উদ্দেশে এক স্মারকপত্র পাঠানো হয়। জেলাশাসকের হাতে স্মারকপত্র তুলে দেওয়ার সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন প্রাক্তন কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী কবীন্দ্র পুরকায়স্থ, দুই বিধায়ক দিলীপ কুমার পাল ও আমিনুল হক লস্কর, জেলা বিজেপি সভাপতি কৌশিক রাই প্রমুখ।

পরে সাংবাদিকদের সঙ্গে কথা বলার সময় বিধায়ক দিলীপ কুমার পাল বলেন, রাফাল নিয়ে এতদিন কংগ্রেস যে মিথ্যাচারিতার আশ্রয় নিয়েছে, তা এখন প্রকাশ্যে এসে পড়েছে। একের পর এক মিথ্যা বক্তব্য দিয়ে যাচ্ছেন রাহুল গান্ধী। এজন্য গান্ধীর প্রকাশ্যে ক্ষমা চাওয়া উচিত। বিধায়ক পাল এ দিন বোফর্স কেলেংকারি নিয়েও কংগ্রেস সভাপতিকে আক্রমণ করেন।

প্রাক্তন কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী কবীন্দ্র পুরকায়স্থ বলেন, রাফাল চুক্তির ব্যাপারে সুপ্রিম কোর্ট ক্লিনচিট দেওয়া সত্ত্বেও সারা দেশে মিথ্যা প্রচার করে চলেছেন কংগ্রেস সভাপতি রাহুল গান্ধী। তিনি যেভাবে প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদির সম্পর্কে অশোভন মন্তব্য করছেন, তা মোটেই কাম্য নয়। প্রাক্তন মন্ত্রী এর নিন্দা জানান।

December 19: Rafale deal has now become an apple of discord between the Congress and the BJP. After the Supreme Court gave clean chit to the Union government on Rafale, the controversy has acquired a new height. All throughout the country, the two parties are at daggers drawn against each other on this issue.

Protest by BJP against the alleged ‘misinformation’ by Rahul Gandhi and his party was also made by Cachar BJP at Silchar on Wednesday. At 70 places in India, BJP has set itself in convening press meet on this issue and then have sent memorandums to the President of India alleging that the Congress is misleading the nation on Rafale.

On Wednesday, a memorandum addressed to the President of India was handed over through the Deputy Commissioner of Cachar by the BJP leaders. Later on, while speaking to the media, Silchar MLA Dilip Kumar Paul said that the lies spread by Congress on Rafale all these days have now been exposed. He accused Rahul Gandhi of uttering one after another lie. He urged upon Rahul Gandhi to accept his mistake and plead for pardon. MLA Paul also attacked the Congress on Bofors deal.

Former Union Minister Kabindra Purkayastha said that Congress is continuing its false propaganda on Rafale even when the Supreme Court has given clean chit to the government. He severely criticised the objectionable language used by the Congress against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
