Primary Health Centre inaugurated at Trunk road by Dilip Paul

২৫ অক্টোবর : স্বাস্থ্যই সম্পদ। এই প্রবাদ বাক্যটি মনে রেখেই বর্তমান রাজ্য সরকার স্বাস্থ্য পরিষেবার উন্নয়নে প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ।শহরাঞ্চলে আরও প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্র খোলার পরিকল্পনা হাতে নিয়েছে রাজ্য সরকার। বৃহস্পতিবার শিলচর ট্রাঙ্ক রোডে একটি আরবান হেলথ সেন্টারের উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে গিয়ে এ মন্তব্য করেন বিধায়ক দিলীপ কুমার পাল। বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে তিনি আরও বলেন, ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর স্থাপন হওয়ার এক বছরের মধ্যেই প্রকল্পটি পূর্ণরূপ পেয়েছে।

এ দিন এই নগর প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্রটি ফিতে কেটে উদ্বোধন করেন প্রাক্তন কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী কবীন্দ্র পুরকায়স্থ। এ উপলক্ষে আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে বিধায়ক ছাড়াও অন্যদের মধ্যে উপস্থিত ছিলেন কাছাড়ের জেলাশাসক ডাঃ এস লক্ষণন, শিলচর পুরসভার চেয়ারম্যান নীহারেন্দ্র নারায়ণ ঠাকুর এবং অন্যরা।

অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে জেলাশাসক ডাঃ এস লক্ষণন বলেন, এই প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্র টি তারাপুর ও মালুগ্রাম অঞ্চলের প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্য পরিষেবায় সহায়ক হবে। প্রাক্তন কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী কবীন্দ্র পুরকায়স্থ বর্তমান বিজেপি সরকার রাজ্যের সার্বিক উন্নয়নে সচেষ্ট রয়েছে বলে মন্তব্য করেন। স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগের পক্ষে জানানো হয়, এই প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্রে চিকিৎসক এবং নার্সরা থাকবেন এবং প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা পরিষেবা এখানে পাওয়া যাবে।

October 25: ‘Health is wealth. Keeping upto this phrase, the present state government is promise bound to improve the health facilities. The government has planned to open more primary health centre’s in urban areas.’ This was what MLA Dilip Kumar Paul said during the inauguration ceremony of Urban Health Centre at Trunk Road, Silchar.

On Thursday, the Urban Primary Health Centre at Trunk Road, Silchar was formally inaugurated by cutting the ribbon by former Union Minister Kabindra Purkayastha in presence of MLA Dilip Kumar Paul, Deputy Commissioner Dr. S. Laksmanan, Silchar Municipal Board Chairman Niharendra Narayan Thakur and others. Speaking during the occasion, MLA Paul said that the project was completed within a year of laying its foundation stone.

Dr. S. Lakshmanan, said that the Primary Health Centre will cater to the basic health facilities of Tarapur and Malugram area. Former Union Minister Kabindra Purkayastha praised the present BJP government for working for the all round development of the state. It was further informed that doctors and nurses will be available in the health centre and basic diagnostic facilities will also be there.
