Parameters of health indicators discussed in Health Review Meeting by DC Cachar

January 18 : Barnali Sarma, Deputy Commissioner held a review meeting of health department in her conference hall wherein she reviewed the various parameters of Health indicators based on 16 Dashboard. She emphasised that each pregnant woman should get proper care and every high risk pregnant woman should be identified and treated in priority basis to ensure safe motherhood.

Speaking on Immunization, Deputy Commissioner instructed that the department should be vigilant enough so that no child is missed out from Immunization. Urging the doctors for an holistic approach towards the health service delivery, Barnali Sharma, DC Cachar warned that strict action will be taken for negligence or absence in duty. It was further decided that intensive awareness on various health programmes will be undertaken to sensitize public.

Presided over by DC Cachar, the health review meeting was also attended by ADC Rajib Roy, Sumit Sattwan, ADC, Dr. Sudip Jyoti Das, Jt. Director of Health Services, Dr. Abhijit Swami, Superintendent of SMCH, Dr. Ashutosh Barman, Superintendent.,SMDCH and other officials of District Level and Block Level.
