Numbers reduced drastically; only 756 tests +ve in Assam on Sunday

Oct. 4: On Sunday, 756 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now reached 1,86,200, out of which, 34,675 are active cases. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ 756 #COVID cases detected out of 13123 tests today. Positivity Rate for the day- 5.76% Kamrup Metro- 211.”

Moreover, during the day, another 14 persons in the state died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of Assam to 749.
