অনলাইনেও জানা যাবে এনআরসি-ভাগ্য
NRC status can also be known online

৩০ আগস্টঃ এনআরসি তালিকা যেমন সেবাকেন্দ্রগুলিতে গিয়ে দেখা যাবে, তেমনি অনলাইনেও দেখা যাবে। কাছাড় জেলা জনসংযোগ থেকে এই তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে। তাতে উল্লেখ রয়েছে, nrcassam.nic.in খুললেই এআরএন নম্বর চাইবে। এআরএন নম্বরটি টাইপ করলেই সংশ্লিষ্টদের  এনআরসি-ভাগ্য জানা যাবে।

তবে সরকারি তরফে স্পষ্ট জানানো হয়েছে, ৩১ আগস্ট শুধু তিন ধরনের মানুষের কথাই জানা যাবে। প্রথমত, খসড়া-ছুট হয়ে যারা পুনরাবেদন করেছিলেন। দ্বিতীয়ত, খসড়ায় ছিল কিন্তু এই বছরের ২৬ জুন প্রকাশিত বাদের তালিকায় পড়ে নথিপত্র পুনঃপরীক্ষা করিয়েছেন। এবং তৃতীয়ত, যাদের নামে আপত্তি জমা পড়েছিল। বাকি যাদের নাম এনআরসির খসড়ায় অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়েছিল, তাঁদের নাম খোঁজাখুঁজির দরকার নেই। তাঁরা এমনিতেই ভারতীয় নাগরিক বলে ঘোষিত।

সরকারি বিবৃতিতে আরও উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে, এনআরসি-র তালিকায় নাম না থাকলেও ভয়ের কিছু নেই। তাদের মোটেও বিদেশি বলে গণ্য করা হবে না। শুধু ১২০ দিনের মধ্যে ট্রাইব্যুনালে আপিল জানাতে হবে। সেখানে নথিপত্র দিয়ে নিজেকে ভারতীয় বলে প্রমাণ করলেই হল। তাই নাম না পেলেও আতঙ্কিত না হতে অনুরোধ জানানো হয়েছে।

August 30: The final NRC list can be seen by the people both offline and online. This was informed by the District Information and Public Relation Office. It was mentioned that for online checking of the list one needs to type on their browser www.nrcassam.nic.in. After that the website will ask for your ARN number. By typing the ARN number, one can see whether their name(s) are there in the list or not.

However, government sources have revealed that on 31 August, 2019, the fate of three categories of persons can be known. Those persons who submitted claim as they were not included in complete Draft NRC(published on 30th July 2018)or excluded by Additional Draft list published on 26th june 2019 or had any objection filled against their inclusion may visit their respective NSK/circle office/DC office for checking the inclusion in supplementary list. Public may also check their status online www.nrcassam.nic.in by entering their ARNs.

It may be mentioned here that, there are 160 numbers of NSK in entire Cachar District and people can check their names tomorrow i,e on 31 August from 10 A.M. onward at their respective NSK. Those persons who were included in complete Draft NRC (published on 30 July, 2018) and not excluded by Additional Draft list published on 26 June, 2019, but called for hearing held from 5 July, 2019 onwards will check for their inclusion status.

Those persons who were included in complete Draft NRC (published on 30 July, 2018)and not excluded by Additional Draft list published on 26 June, 2019 and were not called for any hearing held from 5 July, 2019 onwards need not worry about their inclusion status.They will continued to be included in final NRC. List of exclusion will be published online.

Further, the release issued also stated that non- inclusion of a person’s name in NRC doesn’t amount to his/her being declared a foreigner. Every individual left out from final NRC can appeal to the Foreigners’ Tribunal within 120 days. There is no reason to panic.
