New feather in the wings of DSA: Sports Library cum Archive to be inaugurated on Sunday

Oct. 23: It’s indeed a welcome news for the sports lovers of this valley. A state-of-the-art Sports Library cum Archive will soon find a place of pride in the arena of District Sports Association (DSA),Silchar. This will definitely add a new feather in the wings of DSA, Silchar. For all sports enthusiasts, this new addition will usher in added interests in the arena of research as such an endeavour seems to be unique not only for Barak Valley but also for the entire North East Region.

The Sports Library cum Archive has been built in memory of Sudhangshu Mohon Dutta. This new facility will be formally inaugurated at 4 PM on 24 October, 2021 at the premises of SM Dev Stadium, DSA, Silchar. The archive will showcase the achievements of sportsperson not only of this valley but of elsewhere also. Further, for sports researchers, it will be a storehouse for source materials. This new Sports Library cum Archive will have a tangible experience and will definitely inspire posterity towards games and sports.
