Miscreants who vandalised police van & manhandled them arrested

October 30: On the basis of secret information, Udharbond Police conducted a raid in a gambling den near rail gate in Arkatipur of Udharbond on 27 October, 2019 on the night of Kali Puja. However, when the police team reached the spot, miscreants pelted stones in the police van. The police team was also manhandled and their van was vandalised.

This led to a man hunt by Udharbond police and on Tuesday, they were successful in apprehending two culprits Sudarshn Nunia and Singhason Nunia. Both are residents of Arkatipur, Rangpur Part-I.

During interrogation, both of them have revealed the name of some others who were also a part of the group which vandalised the police van and manhandled them. Based on these inputs, there may be further arrests.
