Meeting of District Mahila Congress held in presence of its State President at Silchar

January 07: State President of Mahila Congress cum MLA of Boko, Nandita Das is on a 2-day tour of Barak Valley. On Monday, she arrived at Silchar and went straightway yo Hailakandi. There at Hailakandi, she attended a party meeting and then came over to Silchar.

At Silchar, MLA Nandita Das attended a meeting of District Mahila Congress at Silchar Indira Bhavan wherein various pertinent issues related to Mahila Congress were discussed. Top priority was given to the issues raised by the female Congress workers.

Apart from the State President of Mahila Congress, also present during the meeting were District Congress President-Pradip Kumar Dey, Secretary of APCC Sanjeev Roy, Sanchita Acharjee, Tuhina Sharma among others.
