Massive fire at Fancy Bazar, Guwahati

July 14:  Fire broke out at a restaurant at Fancy Bazar, Guwahati in the early hours of Sunday. Soon fire spread to the nearby establishments. Local people gathered at the spot and tried to douse the fire.

Meanwhile, 2 engines of fire brigades arrived and brought the fire under control. Fire brigade sources revealed that fire broke out in the morning at Aha Restaurant & Cafe at Fancy Bazar, Guwahati. Prima facie evidence revealed short circuit as the cause of fire. However,  there was no report of any casualties.
