Lok Sabha Polls 2019 & Assam: Know when to vote

March 13: A total of 2,17,60,604 voters including 1,06,27,822 female voters are set to exercise their franchise in the three-phased Lok Sabha polls in Assam. Assam will see a three-phased Lok Sabha polls to be held on April 11, April 18 and April 23 covering 14 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state. There are 7,06,489 first time voters this time who are between the age group of 18 to 19 years.

While a total of 75,16,284 voters are set to cast their votes during the first phase of polling in Assam on April 11, an estimated 68,36,494 voters will cast their votes in the second phase on April 18. A total of 74,07,824 voters set to cast their votes in the third phase of polling on 23  April.

Phase 2, April 18th, 2019: Karimganj (Ratabari, Patherkandi, Karimganj North, Karimganj South, Badarpur, Hailakandi, Katlichera, Algapur), Silchar (Silchar,Sonai,Dholai,Udharbond, Lakhipur, Barkhola, Katigorah) Autonomous District (Halflong,Bokajan, Howraghat,Diphu, Baithalangso), Mangaldoi (Kamalpur, Rangia, Nalbari, Panery, Udalguri, Majbat, Kaligaon, Sipajhar, Mangaldai, Dalgaon), Nawgong (Jagiroad, Morigaon, Lahorighat, Raha, Nagaon,Barhampur, Jamunamukh, Hojai, Lumding).

According to data, 158, 181 and 164 third gender voters will cast their ballot in Phase-I, Phase-II and Phase-III of the Lok Sabha polls in Assam respectively.
