Lions & YASE conducts free Cataract detection and Eye Check up Camp

October 11: Lions Club of Silchar Lioness (LCSL) in collaboration with Youths Against Social Evils (YASE) organised a ‘free Cataract detection and Eye Check up Camp’ at Sewti under Katigorah Constituency on Friday. A total of 140 patients were examined out of which 20 of them were detected having cataract. Those detected suffering from cataract will undergo free operation at Silchar Lions Eye Hospital on 18 October, 2019.

26 patients were given free spectacles. Further, free medicine was also distributed among them. On behalf of LCSL, Sakhi Bhattacharjee, Paromita Paul, Indrani Bhattacharje and others were present and on behalf of YASE Bandita Trivedi Roy, Giyas Uddin, Maipak Sinha, Rajib Laskar and others were present.
