Lions Club of Silchar to organise ‘Peace Poster Contest’ on 10 November

November 4: Lions Club of Silchar Central in association with Leo Club of Silchar Central is going to organise a ‘Peace Poster Contest’ at 12 noon on 10 November, 2019 (Sunday). The ‘Peace Poster Contest’ will be held at Lions Eye Hospital, Silchar. Participants in the Age Group 11 to 13 will only be eligible to participate in this event. This is not the 1st time that Lions Club of Silchar are organising such a contest. In the previous years also, similar kind of contest were organised by the Lions.

Speaking to way2barak, Lion Soma Das, Project Chairperson said, “Like the previous years, we will be organising this ‘Peace Poster Contest’ at our Lions Eye Hospital on 10 November. The theme of this contest will be ‘Journey of Peace.’ There is no entry fees. Winners will be given 3 awards- 1st, 2nd & 3rd respectively. Further, certificates of participation will be given to all the participants. I request all parents to send their wards to this competition. I am receiving over-whelming support from my colleagues and is certain about the success of this project.”
