Leo & Smile to organise Blood Donation Camp on 30 August

August 25: Donating something for the society or those who are in need of it is always a welcome move. But perhaps donating blood is one such kind of act for which there is no other alternative. It’s perhaps the highest, the ‘Taj Mahal’ of all donations. Unpaid volunteers who donate on a regular basis are a crucial element in the provision of a safe and reliable supply of blood. A unit of blood can indeed make a difference between life and death.

Keeping all this aspects in mind, Leo Club of Silchar, the youth wing of Lions Club of Silchar Lioness has geared up for a voluntary blood donation camp. For this purpose, the Leos have collaborated with Smile, who too will lend their helping hand for this noble cause.

This Mega Blood Donation Camp by Leo Club of Silchar will be held on 30 August, 2019 at PWD Athletic Club, Opposite Development Authority, PWD Road, Silchar. The camp will begin at 11 in the morning. 

Speaking to way2barak, Anupriya Deb, President of  Leo Club of Silchar said, “I on behalf of our club and Smile would request all to stand beside us in this noble cause and come forward for blood donation. Just 20 minutes of your time and 350cc of your blood can make a difference between life and death. Please join us and be the change.”
