Leo Club of Silchar distribute milk packets among patients on I-Day

August 15: Leo Club of Silchar along with its parent club, Lions Club of Silchar Lioness observed the 73rd Independence Day with pomp and splendor. The day began with hoisting of the tricolour in front of Barak Continental at 7.45 AM. This was followed by rendering of the National Anthem and taking the pledge.

In its journey of philanthropic activities, Leo Club of Silchar has received immense help from the staff of the Barak Continental since their very inception and hence it was the turn of the Leos to express their gratitude to them. As such, the club distributed shirts among the staff of Barak Continental for their relentless help.

Finally, to commemorate the day, milk patients were distributed by the members of Leo Club of Silchar among the patients at S.M.Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar and Red Cross Hospital.
