Leo Club of Silchar conducts its Installation Ceremony

August 1: After the completion of a successful year packed with numerous activities, the Installation Ceremony of Leo Club of Silchar was held on last Sunday. On that day, the Installation Ceremony of of the Board of Directors of Leo Club of Silchar along with their parent club, Lions Club of Silchar Lioness for the LY 2019-20 was conducted.

The Installation and Induction Officer for the occasion was District Governor of District 322g, Lion Sudhir Choudhury.  A total of 8 new members were inducted during the occasion. Chartered Secretary of Leo Club of Silchar, Anupriya Deb was elevated to the post of President. Arindam Goala was entrusted the onus of the Secretary of the Club whereas Reshmi Mitra became the Treasurer.

On the same day, the Installation Ceremony of Leo’s parent club, Lions Club of Silchar Lioness was also held. Uma Kar was made the President of the Silchar Lioness, whereas, Paromita Paul was installed as the Secretary. Sabita Chamaria became its Treasurer.

The Installation Ceremony was graced by various Lion dignitaries of all the other Lions Club of Silchar. The presence of Leo Club of Silchar Central was an added attraction for them. Further, eminent citizens of the town also added glamour to the ceremony by their presence.
