Leo Club of Karimganj Youth distributes old clothes among around 200 beneficiaries

September 22:  Leo Club of Karimganj Youth, the youth wing of Lions Club of Karimganj took to the streets of Karimganj town and distributed old clothes among the poor and needy.

On Sunday, the members of Leo Club of Karimganj Youth organised an old cloth distribution project near Karimganj College. Around 200 beneficiaries were distributed old clothes. Ladies, gents and children were seen to hover around the spot where clothes were distributed.

Speaking to way2barak, Leo Srinath Banik, President of  Leo Club of Karimganj Youth said, “We the members of the club have collected the old clothes from the people and have distributed these among the poor people. The smile on the face of the beneficiaries on getting the clothes was what gives us impetus to work for the society in the future also.”

Present during the cloths distribution ceremony were its President Srinath Banik, Secretary Samarjit Nandy Sohan Biswas, Rimu Kr Deb, Monojeet Dhar and Janmajit Acharjee
