Leo Club & Fitness Hub to organise cycling awareness rally on Republic Day morning

January 25: Leo Club of Silchar, Youth Wing of Lions Club of Silchar Lioness is all set with a Cycling Awareness Rally. The Fitness Hub, powered by Fire Fox has come forward to collaborate with the Leos. The Cycling Awareness Rally has been undertaken with the motto: “Pedal for pollution free nation.” The rally will be flagged off at 6 AM on 26 January from the Fitness Hub stores at Janiganj Silchar and will go to the Silchar Medical college and Hospital (SMCH) point. It will come back again to Fitness Hub.

This was informed in a press meet which was held on Thursday. The press meet was attended by President of  Leo Club of Silchar Ketan Singodia, Joint Secretary Arindam Goala and the owner of The fitness Hub, Sudarshan Sarda. Speaking during the press meet, the organisers appealed for mass participation in the cycle rally and make it a grand success.

It needs mention here that Leo Club of Silchar (Youth Wing of Lions Club of Silchar Lioness) was formed on 4 February, 2018 with Ketan Singodia as the President, Anupriya Deb as the Secretary and Neha Jain as the Treasurer along with a strength of 34 members. Since its initiation, the club has undertaken numerous social service activities like vision camps, dental check up camps, cancer awareness camps, workshop on self-defence and self hygiene for women, blood donation camps, serving the crowd. The club has initiated an annual scholarship for a young girl for pursuing her passion in dance. Speaking to way2barak, Anupriya Deb, Secretary of the club said, “This time we are ready with the biggest cycling awareness rally in town in association with The Fitness Hub, powered by Fire Fox.”
