Laptops to be distributed among students on Friday who secured 75% in HSLC

১৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি : মাধ্যমিক ও হাই মাদ্রাসা পরীক্ষায় ৭৫ শতাংশ নম্বর পেয়ে উত্তীর্ণ জেলার ছাত্রছাত্রীদের ল্যাপটপ দেবে কাছাড় জেলা প্রশাসন। আগামী শুক্রবার সকাল ১১টায়  শিলচরের পুলিশ প্যারেড গ্রাউন্ডে আয়োজিত এক অনুষ্ঠানে এদের এই ল্যাপটপ তুলে দেওয়া হবে। এ বার জেলার মোট ৭৭৯ জন ল্যাপটপ পাচ্ছে।

জেলার অতিরিক্ত উপায়ুক্ত রণদীপ দাম এক বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে জানিয়েছেন, যারা ল্যাপটপ পাবার জন্য যোগ্য বলে বিবেচিত হবে, তাদের এক কপি পাসপোর্ট সাইজের ফটো ও নিজস্ব পরিচয়পত্র সঙ্গে নিয়ে এ দিন অনুষ্ঠানস্থলে আসতে হবে। এই অনুষ্ঠানে বিভিন্ন অতিথিদের আমন্ত্রণ জানানো হয়েছে।

February 13:Under Anundoram Borooah Award scheme, students who have secured 75% or more marks in HSLC & High Madrasa examinations conducted by Board of Secondary Education (SEBA), Assam will be given Laptops by the state government.

At Cachar district, the Laptops will be distributed among the meritorious students securing 75% or more in HSLC/High Madrasa on Friday at 11 in the morning. They will be handed over the Laptops in a programme which will be held at Police Parade Ground, Silchar. A total of 779 students of Cachar district has become eligible for getting the Laptops.

In a notification issued by ADC Ranodip Dam, it was stated that those who are eligible for getting the laptop will have to attend the programme on friday along with a passport size photo and their identity card.

Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme was first announced by Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi during the state budget session of 2005. The aim of this scheme was to enhance competition amongst the student and to help them to enrich their perception through up-to-date knowledge and information with the help of IT education.
