ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১২ ডিসেম্বর : আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে আগামী ২৮ ডিসেম্বর উত্তর-পূর্ব আন্তঃবিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ফুটবল (পুরুষ) চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপে অংশগ্রহণের জন্য খেলোয়াড় বাছাই পর্ব আয়োজিত হবে। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের স্পোর্টস বোর্ডের অ্যাসিস্ট্যান্ট ডিরেক্টর ড. সিদ্ধার্থ শর্মা এক বিবৃতিতে জানিয়েছেন, উত্তর-পূর্ব আন্তঃবিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ফুটবল (পুরুষ) চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপ আগামী ৫ জানুয়ারি থেকে গুয়াহাটির রয়্যাল গ্লোবাল ইউনিভার্সিটিতে শুরু হচ্ছে। এই প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণের জন্য আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের দল বাছাই পর্ব আগামী ২৮ ডিসেম্বর আয়োজিত হবে।

আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিলচর ও ডিফু ক্যাম্পাস এবং অধিভুক্ত কলেজগুলোর যে সকল স্নাতকোত্তর পর্যায়ের ছাত্র ফুটবলে অংশগ্রহণে আগ্রহী, তাদের যথাযথ খেলাধুলার পোশাকসহ উপস্থিত থাকতে অনুরোধ করা হয়েছে। এই বাছাই পর্ব আয়োজিত হবে বেলা দশটা থেকে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের স্পোর্টস কমপ্লেক্সে। এই বাছাই পর্বে সন্তোষজনক পারফরম্যান্স দেখাতে পারলে চূড়ান্ত দল গঠনের জন্য কোচিং ক্যাম্পে তাদের ডাকা হবে। নির্বাচিত খেলোয়াড়দের এই কোচিং ক্যাম্পে অংশগ্রহণ বাধ্যতামূলক।

এ ব্যাপারে বিস্তৃত তথ্যের জন্য ড. সিদ্ধার্থ শর্মা (মোবাইল – ৯৪০১২১২৫৮৩) অথবা নিরঞ্জন দাসের (মোবাইল – ৯৪৩৫৫৬৬২১৬) সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করতে বলা হয়েছে।

Way2barak, December 12 : Assam University will conduct a selection trial on December 28 to form the team for participation in the North-East Inter-University Football (Men’s) Championship. In a statement, Dr. Siddhartha Sharma, Assistant Director of the University Sports Board, informed that the North-East Inter-University Football (Men’s) Championship will begin on January 5 at Royal Global University, Guwahati.

To participate in this championship, the selection trial for Assam University’s team will be held on December 28. Students from Assam University’s Silchar and Diphu campuses, as well as from affiliated colleges, who are interested in participating in football, are requested to be present in proper sports attire. The selection trial will be held from 10 AM at the University Sports Complex.

Candidates who perform satisfactorily in the trial will be invited to join the coaching camp for final team formation.
