IndiGo starts operations on the Agartala – Aizawl route

February 29: North East Region (NER) gets connected better! IndiGo starts operations on the Agartala – Aizawl route under #UDAN – RCS from 29 February onwards, making it the 262nd route under the scheme. This route will improve connectivity in the region & open new avenues for tourism & commercial activities.

Agartala has rich cultural diversity & Aizawl is blessed with natural beauty. With no direct flights & trains, people had to endure a 10-hour road journey earlier on. With this flight, the travel time has been reduced to just 45 mins.
