Hindu Samhati to organise a rally on Mahalaya morning to mark home coming of Goddess Durga
September 24: Hindu Samhati, Silchar is going to organise a rally on the early hours of Mahalaya morning to mark the home coming of Goddess Durga. The rally will pass through the major points of Silchar town. It needs mention here that Hindu Samhati, Silchar has been organizing such a rally on Mahalaya from the last few years. This year, the rally will originate from the Narshingtola ground at 7 in the morning on 28 September, 2019.
In a press release issued by the organisation, they requested people from every walk of life, socio-cultural organisations and the members of various Puja committees of Silchar to join them in the rally. Further, a tabloid will be taken out during the rally which will be a replica of the detention camp. A live demonstration of life spent inside detention camps of Assam will be shown.
It was further stated that the tabloid will be in front of the rally. Behind it, people on foot will walk the streets which will then be followed by a team of bike riders.
