Himanta expresses gratitude to ‘Sarathi 104 Staff’
April 3: When the country is passing through a very critical stage due to the outbreak of coronavirus, those in the health sector are now offering their service amidst high risk. Doctors, nurses, ward-boys, cleaners, sweepers, all paramedical staff. At this moment, a simple ‘thanks’ would mean a great to these “God incarnation” of the day. Recognizing their efforts is indeed a matter of immense moral boost.
On Wednesday, Assam Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma applauded the ‘Sarathi 104’ helpline staff of the state for their dedicated service. He expressed his gratitude to them for being soldiers in the fight against coronavirus. It needs mention here that apart from giving health advice to the people on the wake of COVID-19, they are also helping the government in tracing the Nizamuddin Markaz returned people in the state.
Sarathi 104 our helpline number, having an intake capacity of 6000 calls per day has crossed all barriers and has attended to more than 9000 calls upto 10 pm today and still ticking.
