Himanta criticises post-poll violence in West Bengal citing example of Assam
Didi's Dadas have unleashed a reign of terror, assaulting & murdering BJP workers: Himanta Biswa Sarma
May 3: A day after the results of the Assembly elections were declared, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday sought a report from the West Bengal government on post-poll violence “targeting opposition political workers” in the state. The BJP today alleged that nine of its party workers were killed in post-poll violence in the state in the last 24 hours.
Taking a dig at the post-poll violence in West Bengal involving the ‘TMC’, Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Over 24 hours that BJP won elections in Assam. Not a single Congress workers taunted, forget about being attacked. Not too far in Bengal, Didi’s Dadas have unleashed a reign of terror, assaulting & murdering BJP workers. Can the ‘LIBERALS’ spot the difference?”
