Morocco conceded their first goal to an opponent in the tournament. Griezmann slipped El Yamiq on the right and crossed towards Mbappe. Mbappe had two shots blocked from the penalty area but the ball ricocheted towards Hernandez at the far post. Hernandez shot the bouncing ball past both Morocco keeper Bono and scored the 1st goal against Morocco at the 5th minute in the FIFA World Cup 2022 second semi-final.
Substitute Kolo Muani scored his first international goal in just 44 seconds after coming on as a substitute. Substitute who scores with his first touch – inside a minute of coming on – but the goal is created by Mbappe’s dancing feet inside the penalty area. Credit all the same to Kolo Muani, who anticipates the deflection to Mbappes shot and races in to tap home from close range for his first international goal. Surely even Morocco can’t come back from this! The second goal is scored at the 79th minute of the in the FIFA World Cup 2022 second semi-final.
