Flying Squad recovered cash of Rs. 3 Lakh 47 thousand wrapped in BJP flag at Hailakandi

April 7: As the Lok Sabha polls are approaching, Flying Squad teams posted in various parts of the state are recovering huge amount of cash and liquor primarily from vehicles. Flying Squad on Sunday recovered cash Rs. 3 Lakh 47 thousand wrapped in a BJP flag from a Scorpio going towards Mizoram. The cash was apprehended by the members of the Flying Squad in a place called Chandrapur under Lala Police Station at Hailakandi district.

The money is learnt to belong to one Abdul Malik, a resident of Alakhargul in Badarpur. The money thus recovered was later on deposited by the Flying Squad to the Hailakandi treasury. Opposition Congress and AIUDF has trained guns on BJP as the money was found wrapped in BJP flag. However, the BJP leaders refrained from making any comment.
