Euro 2020: Christian Eriksen of Denmark collapses on the field, match against Finland suspended

June 12: In a tragic turn of events, Denmark star Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch in Saturday’s Euro 2020 game against Finland at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen. Eriksen, 29, collapsed near the sideline late in the first half and was immediately surrounded by medical personnel. UEFA has confirmed the match has been suspended “due to a medical emergency”.
