Dr. Rajdeep Roy successfully balancing twin roles of surgeon and MP, performs 4 operations in a row

August 19: Balancing the different shades of one’s profession in a world characterised by multi-tasking functions is probably one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century human beings. Infact, success depends on how we can balance the multifarious roles of our lives. Such a lively instance of perfect balance of one;s task was exhibited by Dr. Rajdeep Roy, an orthopedics surgeon and newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Many opined that his new role as MP of Lok Sabha would stand as bar in the professional career of Dr. Rajdeep Roy. Some even went to the extent of speculating that his career as an orthopedics surgeon would soon come to an end as because he would be overburdened by the duties and responsibilities of his new political career.

However, on Monday rubbishing all claims of the critics, Dr. Rajdeep Roy performed 4 consecutive operations in a private nursing home here in his constituency at Silchar. As per his name and fame, all the four operations were successful. His schoolmate and fellow orthopedics surgeon, Dr. Arijit Dhar who was along with Dr. Rajdeep in the operation theatre heaped lavish praise upon his friend for successfully balancing the twin roles of a surgeon and MP.

In his social media post, Dr. Arijit Dhar wrote, “Our Hon’ble MP Sir Dr Rajdeep Roy operating today at Valley Hospital inspite of his busy schedule….4 cases in a row……hats off to him…..he is a real fighter and damn energetic….had the opportunity to be with my friend in a different mood today evening……A Great Surgeon.” A flood of messages in social media congratulated Dr. Rajdeep Roy for this act of his. Kishore Kumar Deb, a social media user wrote, “This is what real dedication mean. To serve men & society is to serve God. We feel proud of our dynamic MP and also the whole team who are associated in today’s operation table.”
