Documentary ‘Netaji @125’ by Subimal Bhattacharjee makes it to Tokyo Int’l Short Film Fest

April 3: ‘Netaji @125’ a documentary directed and produced by Subimal Bhattacharjee has been selected by the jury for the ‘Honorable mention category’ in the Tokyo International Short Film festival 2022 in the short documentary category.

The documentary is an interview based 24 minutes documentary that lists how Subhas Chandra Bose is remembered today on his 125th birth anniversary in 2022 from people across geographical locations.

In the prestigious Tokyo International Short Film festival, the levels of status for a particular category are Winner, Honorable Mention, Nominee and Finalist. Sunset Survivors directed by Justin Solomon won the winner category and Netaji @125 directed by Subimal Bhattacharjee and I think He’ll be Alright directed by Jeffrey Scot Richards were in the Honorable Mentions category.
