‘Dinesh Prashad Goala Sriti Samman’ to be awarded on 30 June

June 2: An executive Meeting of ‘Barak Hindi Sahitya Samiti’ was held at ‘Hindi Bhavan’ Silchar on Sunday to chalk out the formalities of the annual programme of  ‘Dinesh Prashad Goala Sriti Samman’ for the students of Barak Valley. The said programme will be sponsored by MLA Rajdeep Goala of Lakhipur. were discussed and finalised.

The award ceremony will be organised on 30 June, 2019 (Sunday) at Hindi Bhavan, Silchar, from 11 AM onwards. A committee comprising of Babul Kanoo, Ravi Nunia, Durgesh Kurmi, Pradip Kurmi and Nanda Roy was formed to follow up the entire process and make the ‘Samman Samaroh’ a grand success. Application forms for enlisting in the award ceremony will be given and received from 3 June to 20 June.

The students shall have to satisfy the following criteria for becoming eligible for ‘Dinesh Prashad Goala Sriti Samman’:

For Hindi speaking students of Barak Valley:

• Students in last HSLC/HSSLC Final examination 2018-19 with 70% (SEBA) and CBSE (80% or 8.5 CGPA) overall marks.
• In Assam University ,Silchar 2018 finals First Class in Hindi and Highest in any subject in Masters.

For students of any language of Barak Valley:

• Rank holders of Barak Valley in HSLC/HSSLC 2018-19 Finals
•  Students with minimum 80% marks (SEBA) and minimum 90% (9.5 CGPA) marks in Hindi.
• In Assam University , Silchar 2018 finals highest in Hindi in Masters.
