Delhi Assembly Elections: Voting begins for 70 seats

February 8: The battle for Delhi has begun. Voting for al the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections has begun on Saturday morning and it will continue till 6.30 PM. A total of 672 candidates are in the fray for the 70 seats. There are a total of 1,46,92,136 voters — 80,55,686 men, 66,35,635 women and 815 belonging to the third gender — in the final voters’ list of Delhi Election.

Delhi is witnessing a triangular contest between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress. The result for the Delhi Assembly election 2020 will be declared by the election commission on Tuesday, 11 February, 2020.
