চুল কাটতে বেরিয়ে নিখোঁজ, বস্তাবন্দি লাশ উদ্ধার

৮ জানুয়ারি : ফের কাছাড় জেলার হাতিছড়ায় এক যুবকের মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার হয়েছে। এ দিন দুপুরে পুলিশ বস্তাবন্দি লাশটি উদ্ধার করে। উদ্ধার হওয়া যুবক মিঠুন দাস বলে জানিয়েছে পুলিশ। জানা গেছে, সে পুটিছড়ায় কাকার বাড়িতে থেকে দিনমজুরি করত। সোমবার দুপুরে সে চুল কাটবে বলে ঘর থেকে বেরোয়। কিন্তু আর ফিরে আসেনি। পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, মৃতদেহের মাথায় আঘাতের চিহ্ন রয়েছে। অনুমান করা হচ্ছে, মাথায় আঘাত করেই তাকে খুন করা হয়েছে। এ ঘটনায় জনমনে চাঞ্চল্য দেখা দিয়েছে। ব্যক্তিগত শত্রুতার জেরেই এই খুন বলে সন্দেহ করছে পুলিশ।

January 8: Another dead body of a youth was recovered from Hathichera in Cachar district. Police found the dead body in the afternoon inside a sack. The deceased was identified by the police as Mithun Das. It was learnt that he worked as a daily labourer in the house of his Uncle at Puthichera. On Monday afternoon, he went out of his house for having a hair cut, but he never returned. Police has informed that the dead body has injury mark on the forehead. People of the area have expressed the doubt that the youth was killed by causing injury in his head. Police has expressed the view that the murder has happened due to personal jealousy.
